FY17 HONOR ROLL OF DONORS

17³Ô¹ÏANNUAL MEETING

17³Ô¹ÏAWARDS 55 EXCAVATION SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS IN 2013

243 Total Awards Since 2007

Despite the continuing tough economic climate, 17³Ô¹Ïhas once again maintained our commitment to providing scholarships, grants, and fellowships for students and scholars. Our numbers for summer field scholarships and excavation grants reached an all-time record this year with 55 awards for the summer of 2013. ASOR’s donors (see the Fiscal Year 2013 Development Report) played a crucial role in making sure that these important scholarships could be given. The feedback that we received from students indicated that these funds made the difference in their participation. We were amazed at how many students told us they would not have been able to particpate in a field season without this scholarship.

Once again, the 2013-2014 academic year appears to be a challenging one in terms of grant funding, so the gifts and contributions of donors will be greatly appreciated. We have set a goal of increasing our support by 10 awards and providing 65 field scholarships and excavation grants for 2014. We will need your help to make this happen, and we hope that you will join 17³Ô¹Ïdonors from last year (see the Fiscal Year 2013 Honor Roll of Donors.) Please contact 17³Ô¹Ïexecutive director, Andy Vaughn, if you would like more information on how you can help with scholarships or excavation grants.
