Archaeological Tour of Tunisia 2026

Discover Tunisia’s extraordinary blend of ancient cities, sacred landscapes, and desert fortresses on this new Friends of 17³Ô¹Ïjourney coming Spring 2026. From Carthage to Djerba, explore millennia of history shaped by Phoenician, Roman, Islamic, and Amazigh cultures—a memorable experience for travelers who love archaeology, history, and heritage!

Join Friends of 17³Ô¹ÏforÌýan unforgettable journey across Tunisia, where the legacies of Phoenician traders, Roman conquerors, early Christian communities, and Berber kingdoms intertwine. Guided by expert scholars, this 15-day tour combines on-site lectures, museum visits, and cultural excursions for those eager to understand the deep history of the Maghreb.

In addition, a $1,000 tax-deductible contribution supports Friends of ASOR’s outreach initiatives, archaeological engagement, and education programs.

 

Registration Rates:

Early Bird (through November 24, 2025): $3,000 + $1,000 tax-deductible gift to Friends of ASOR
Super Saver (November 25 to December 15, 2025): $3,050 + $1,000 tax-deductible gift to Friends of ASOR
Advance (December 16, 2025 – January 15, 2026): $3,150 + $1,000 tax-deductible gift to Friends of ASOR
Regular (January 16, 2026 until space is full): $3,250 + $1,000 tax-deductible gift to Friends of ASOR

Payment Schedule:

To reserve your place: $250 gift to Friends of 17³Ô¹ÏTours (applied toward your total $1,000 contribution). When making your gift, please select the category “Friends of 17³Ô¹ÏTours Tunisia” from the drop-down menu.Ìý
Half of the tour cost (excl. remainder of Friends of 17³Ô¹Ïcontribution): Due by December 31, 2025 (or at registration if after this date).
Remaining tour cost (excl. remainder of Friends of 17³Ô¹Ïcontribution): Due by January 31, 2026.
Remainder of $1,000 contribution ($750): Due by March 1, 2026.

Example of payment schedule:

If you register during the Early Bird period:
$3,000 (tour rate) + $1,000 (tax-deductible gift) = $4,000 total

Donation to reserve your spot: $250
Due December 31, 2025: $1,500
Due January 31, 2026: $1,500
Due March 1, 2026: $750

Cancellation Policy

17³Ô¹Ïstrongly recommends that all participants purchase travel insurance because 17³Ô¹Ïis required to make non-refundable deposits. 17³Ô¹Ïcannot be responsible for refunds except as noted below.

All tax-deductible gifts to ASOR’s Friends of 17³Ô¹Ïoutreach initiatives are irrevocable and thus not refundable.

Schedule of refunds for tour cost and single supplement (if any):

  • From February 22, 2026 until March 6, 2026: 30% of tour cost cancellation fee
  • From March 7, 2026 until March 13, 2026: 75% of tour cost cancellation fee
  • From March 14 onward: full amount / no refund
