2026 IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES
Materials must be RECEIVED by 11:59pm EST on the following dates unless otherwise noted. All materials must be submitted online via the appropriate web form on the 17³Ô¹Ïwebsite unless otherwise noted.
ASOR’s 2026 Annual Meeting will take place November 18-21 at the Hilton Chicago and online. All sessions (and workshops, when feasible) will be able to include both in-person presentations in Chicago and virtual presentations online via Zoom.
| 17³Ô¹Ï2026 Annual Meeting: Important Dates and Deadlines | |
| January 15, 2026 | New Member-Organized Session or Workshop Proposal Form due to the Program Committee. |
| February 6-10, 2026 | The Program Committee’s decisions will be conveyed by the 17³Ô¹Ïoffice to those who proposed new Member-Organized Sessions and Workshops. |
| February 15, 2026 | Call for Papers to post, and 17³Ô¹ÏOnline Abstract Center to open for paper submissions. |
| March 15, 2026 | Deadline to submit abstracts for paper and workshop presentation proposals. Meeting registration and 17³Ô¹ÏAcademic Membership are required to submit a proposal. |
| April 1, 2026 | Final Deadline for paper abstracts and workshop presentation proposals. A fee of $25 applies to late abstracts submitted during the grace period (March 16-April 1). The fee will be waived for abstracts that were solicited by a session chair. |
| April 10, 2026 | Deadline for Session Chairs to submit online reviews (round one) of paper proposals. |
| April 23, 2026 | Deadline for Session Chairs to submit online reviews (round two) of paper proposals. |
| May 1, 2026 | Session Chair deadline to provide schedule / speaker order to ASOR |
| May 15, 2026 | Paper proposal decisions (acceptance, rejections*, wait-list) to be sent by e-mail from 17³Ô¹Ïto the individual who submitted the proposal.
*Upon request, 17³Ô¹Ïwill refund registration fees in full to individuals whose papers are not accepted to the program. |
| June 1, 2026 | Call for Posters Opens |
| August 1, 2026 | Poster Deadline: Deadline to submit a poster abstract according to the instructions on the Call for Posters and via the 17³Ô¹ÏOnline Abstract Center. |
| September 1, 2026 | Deadline to make changes to your program listing (affiliation, necessary content changes, etc.) |
| September 15, 2026 | Deadline to request a refund of your Annual Meeting registration fees in writing to programs@asor.org. |
| November 9, 2026 | Deadline for presenters to submit their presentation files (PPT or PDF for in-person, recorded mp4 videos for virtual) for the 2026 Annual Meeting. |
