The Cultural Heritage Committee seeks nominations for two openings (including self-nominations) from 17³Ô¹Ïmembers who are interested in serving on the committee. The Cultural Heritage Committee advises the President, and ASOR’s leadership more generally, on current and prospective 17³Ô¹ÏCultural Heritage Initiatives and cultural heritage issues affecting 17³Ô¹Ïas well as maintains contact with cultural heritage committees in sister learned societies.

Committee members will serve a three-year term (January 1, 2027 – December 31, 2029) with the option to renew for a second term. Committee members are expected to attend quarterly meetings via Zoom and an in-person meeting at the 17³Ô¹ÏAnnual Meeting each year. In order to receive full consideration by the committee, must be submitted by noon ET on November 13, 2026.
