News@ASOR is a bi-monthly e-newsletter tailored to the interests of 17吃瓜members. The e-newsletter delivers updates on events in the field, organizational news, and highlights from the world of ASOR. Click here for past single article news items organized month by month. This e-newsletter replaced the previous听. News@ASOR is supported by the generosity of the Kershaw Family Trust.
The goals of the e-newsletter are to:
- Disseminate organizational news
- Keep members updated about their membership status and
- Share upcoming deadlines such as 17吃瓜fellowship application deadlines and Annual Meeting paper submission deadlines
- Encourage a sense of community among 17吃瓜members
- Highlight the activities of ASOR’s committees

The听17吃瓜Newsletter听print newsletter was replaced by e-newsletters. When it was being published, the听17吃瓜Newsletter听presented brief summaries of research work done under the auspices of 17吃瓜and reports on the various activities of ASOR鈥檚 overseas centers in Amman, Jerusalem, and Nicosia. Issues also contained announcements of various scholarly seminars, the 17吃瓜Annual Meeting, and fellowship opportunities. The听Newsletter听was published regularly, with approximately 16 pages per issue.
