50 DONORS NEEDED TO QUALIFY FOR $11,200 IN CHALLENGE GIFTS

Thanks to 375 people who have already made gifts to 17³Ô¹Ïthis year, we are very close to meeting our goal of 425 discrete donors for Fiscal Year 2018 (July 1, 2017 – June 30, 2018). Not only is this large number of donors (almost 25% of our membership) something that distinguishes 17³Ô¹Ïfrom other societies, but these donations enable 17³Ô¹Ïto carry out our mission. Subscriptions and memberships only account for about a quarter of our annual budget, so we rely on grants and donations from our members and friends.

Even modest gifts add up to create significant support for ASOR, and the high level of donor participation from our memberships helps us attract gifts from foundations and major donors. Truly, every donor is important, and every gift is meaningful.

As we enter the home stretch of our fiscal year, which ends on June 30, we need 50 more individuals to make a gift of $10 or more to meet our goal. This success will trigger $11,200 in new challenge gifts from several 17³Ô¹Ïtrustees. Those gifts will help 17³Ô¹Ïhave a balanced budget at a time where we have had some unexpected moving and and rent expenses due to losing our office space at Boston University.

Progress Towards 425 Donors in Fiscal Year 2018

Do you prefer to contribute to something other than the Annual Fund? No problem! Contributions for this challenge campaign need not be limited to the Annual Fund—they may be designated for student support, fellowships, cultural heritage, endowment, publications, the 17³Ô¹Ïoffice, or any other area of ASOR’s work.

If you are one of the 375 people who has already made a gift to 17³Ô¹Ïthis fiscal year, thank you so much for your support. If you have not yet made a gift between July 1st and June 30, please consider joining the ranks of 17³Ô¹Ïdonors (click here to see the donors from last year). We have almost two weeks to reach our goal, so please !
