17³Ô¹ÏANNUAL MEETING

2021 ANNUAL MEETING: CHICAGO AND VIRTUAL

CHICAGO: NOVEMBER 17-20
VIRTUAL: DECEMBER 9-12

ASOR’s 2021 Annual Meeting will have both in-person and virtual components. The in-person component will take place November 17-20 at the Hilton Chicago in downtown Chicago. The virtual component will take place online December 9-12.

17³Ô¹Ïmembers may propose sessions and workshops for either or both components through January 15.  The proposal form and full details can be found in the 2021 Call for Member-Organized Session and Workshop Proposals. The Call for Papers will be open from February 15 to March 15 and members can choose to if they would like to submit their research for in-person presentation in Chicago or for the virtual component.

  • View the list of 2021 Sessions & Workshops (In-Person) that have been approved for Chicago, November 17-19.
  • View the list of 2021 Sessions & Workshops (Virtual) that have been approved for the online component, December 9-12.
These lists will be updated as newly proposed sessions and workshops are accepted.

Registration is open and one rate will give you access to both components.

Scholarships are available: Due to COVID-19, and thanks to ASOR’s generous members, all current 17³Ô¹Ïmembers with a need may request a 25%, 50%, or full scholarship for annual meeting registration. E-mail programs@asor.org with requests. We are committed to meeting 100% of requests from members. We will do our best to meet requests from non-members.

Meeting safely and providing diverse and inclusive options for participation are our top priorities. Our 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting showed us that it is possible provide an online platform for global scholars to connect, engage, and share their research. We are committed to expanding our online resources and look forward to continuing this work as part of the 2021 Annual Meeting.

We look forward to meeting together in Chicago this November and to seeing you online in December!
