The poster session is an opportunity for all 17吃瓜members, especially students and Early Career Members, to be involved in the academic program of ASOR鈥檚 Annual Meeting, as well as to get the word out about your research. 听Posters are an ideal format for presenting archaeological projects in general; a technical aspect of your project; a spectacular find from the field season; or complex graphic and/or quantitative data.
The 2025听17吃瓜Poster Session听will be held at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza as part of ASOR鈥檚 hybrid Annual Meeting.听 A poster may be presented in-person during the poster session or shared virtually. All accepted posters will be hosted in an online gallery and the PDF files will be due on November 7.
The in-person Poster Session will be held on November 22 from 12:45-2:00pm. Presenters should plan to be available during this time to speak with attendees and answer questions about their poster.
17吃瓜Academic Membership and Annual Meeting Registration are requirements for all presenters on the academic program.
All poster proposals must be submitted via . Presenters must have 17吃瓜Academic Membership and Annual Meeting Registration in order to access the form. The online submission form includes a place to indicate the format of the presentation (in-person or recorded) should the poster be accepted.
Joy Ungerleider Poster Award: If you would like your poster to be considered for the 2025 , a PDF of your poster will be due by November 7 with permission to archive your poster on a public website. In order for your poster to be considered for the Joy Ungerleider Poster Award:

2. Provide a PDF of your poster by November 7. Upload your Poster PDF file to the 17吃瓜Dropbox Folder 鈥� link and instructions can be found on the when logged-in to the 17吃瓜Online Portal.

17吃瓜invites applications for Chair of the Poster Session. Standing Session Chairs volunteer to serve a three year term (2026-2028) that is renewable for a second term. The Chair of the Poster Session also serves as a voting, ex-officio, member of the for the duration of their term. The Chair of the Poster Session may request to work with a co-chair (with approval by the PC Chair[s]), but only the standing Chair of the Poster Session will serve on the PC. The is brief and the second-half of the form pertains to the Session Chair role. The deadline to apply is November 10th.
