The Cultural Heritage Committee is placing a call for consideration for membership on the Committee for the class of 2025. You can read about the Committee’s charge and purpose here.

In 2022, the Committee has actively worked to energize ASOR’s membership to respond to the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the preservation of cultural heritage of Libya; hosted an FOA webinar “A World at War: Protecting Cultural Heritage in Times of Conflict” and will sponsor a workshop at the virtual Annual Meeting.

We are especially seeking members from outside of North America and in areas that can add to the committee’s vision and work. Please send a brief statement of interest and a brief CV by November 1 to Jane DeRose Evans (jevans@temple.edu), whom you should also contact if you have any questions.
